Thank you, Professor. By accident, I found some of your various interviews and now RUclips is presenting more and more of your stuff to me. For a long time I have been saying what you have said about the Vietnam war, which is basically that it cannot be considered a loss for the United States because it has resulted in a unified state, with which we enjoy diplomatic and commercial relations. A state which got the attention of the Chinese by saying that they might actually offer us a naval base on their coast. The Chinese stopped bothering their fishermen . They know how to maneuver. The government of the Philippines might be able to learn from them. Thanks again.

This is ridiculous. Stop focusing on emotional knee jerk reactions and out that energy into isntreal and the CCP. We the people have had it with the gender and identity politics. When it all goes down the drain I’m going to remind people of conversations like this one. Very soon the world is going back to rural farming communities and then everyone will have their place. A place where women can have actual purpose and respect and men can have actual purpose and respect. This country is doomed. Stop trying to act like nothing is wrong. Women do not belong on a battlefield or anywhere near the planning offices.

The war in Vietnam left the Soviets teetering and the Warsaw Pact countries angry. The Soviet Union could not stay solvent supporting 30 million Poles who were on strike, Reagan's "starwars" missile defense, and the Saudis flooding the oil market. It was a hand well played.

Also - I think a sensitivity analysis on India aligning with the west shows potential India will play both sides and it makes sense and its also a function of her right wing BJB governance which has pretty much attack all its democratic institutions while also dismantling its secular founding pillars. Its membership with BRICS and her free-trade agreement with United Kingdom potentially sidelines the United State’s of America. It’s a reason why we should try to pivot India as another power defending the International democratic orders. Also, correct me if I am wrong but India is a formidable ally especially with her reinvestment into her chip manufacturing industry which is also a critical reason why Taiwan is important?

Already in play happened when India pulled out of the su 57 program they want uniform platforms and ammo better and more domestic they are in the position to take over china as the global manufacturer 1st it's a democracy 2nd it's not a enemy of most of usa policies and in fact is inline with the usa more than it's not as it becomes richer it's going to want usa weapons which comes with usa policy and supply becoming like Mexico our largest trading partner the usa would much rather trade than fight India very similar we have the quad alliance with India already

Its true - its important to not make countries like ASEAN choose between united states and china but there are two things to consider that Asian culture including Indian culture is rooted in Dharma philosophy but also builds on Confucian teaching with places family at the centre of their governance model. The idea is respect for father, mother etc. its indeed central to Asian governance structures - its important to note that because Singapore and ASEAN countries also carry these governance structure but the idea of individuality and liberty is a result of expansion of knowledge. An example here is the export of lgbt ideology by the west, where marriage and love is more about romance but whilst in many countries marriage still remains part of the governance institution such as a marriage based on finance and alliance like in the UK years ago. These are spaces where i think we need to learn to listen and push less. Still - we can influence by leading by example. But anyway - the argument i am making - I think - is that expanding knowledge actually pushes a population towards embracing democracy which is the model the united state is pushing - note, not capitalism but democracy. From this perspective - the united states and its constitution represent a milestone in human history in asserting that the people can and should govern and as more people gain knowledge and confident, they should adopt or embrace democracy. Unless climate change significantly weakens our ability to cope then we turn to being led by a “strong leader”

Also - the United States of America and her power structure represent something different, while a flawed democracy; a first global republic or order of sort. So, a rebirth of the United States of America would represent the second global republic which is a continuation of the international democratic global order but one that focuses on good governance and a shift towards equity, human rights and progress. I believe the United States Military should intervene in the Israel / Gaza Genocide. It could then use a trial to well upgrade the United State’s democracy. The genocide will open up accounts across the world. See, I feel bold in my demands the united states can use the above to negotiate an end to the genocide. It will safe Israel face but the trial should be fair and it should include the President of the united states of America. There were a war or two we went for democracy, then someone figured out just how much war creates profits and so now our soldiers needs to go fight wars. It’s fair to argue those who suffered the most due to these misled policies were our soldiers themselves, so there is also a moral aspect to it. Plus, we must confront the horror of war and understand the value of life. Also - any congress individuals caught taking bribes, etc in excess where its clear their interest have been brought should face criminal charges since the entire trial serves to address corruption. It sounds harsh but we seek no physical harm to these individuals, and the exercise serves to expose corruption. From a national interest perspective, allowing corporate interest to override say expert advice, each said corrupt politicians represent security nodes for the nation that have been compromised. Also, any individual capable of allowing corporate interest to guide how they govern the nation is by default an individual who is easily manipulated. While i understand my proposal sounds radical, I felt its important to speak up especially when it comes to the security and well being of our people. So yes - I believe the United State’s Military calling for a ceasefire, and calling for a trial. You got the people’s attention, and let give them a crash course on national security and oust those corrupt fools and their techniques.

How come Ukraine and her war is not seen as a diversion tactic? My analysis shows Ukraine serves to create a diversion and the attack is dismantling Europe and North America’s food security. It makes more sense when you position Israel as not a friend but acting against the American democracy and using starvation to carry out a genocide. Hence why Ukraine is a diversion, Israel genocide is the real attack on United State’s or the International’s normative power structure. Precisely why the ICC and United Nation both are left without any legitimacy after its failure. So, when you then lay the framework of china leading united nation food program, Russia targeting Ukrainian’s agricultural land and industry with both the policies of china and Russia aggressively securing agricultural land - Then it becomes clear Ukraine is a diversion and Israel’s war is the real attack on our democracy. See, the entire united state military doctrine is stuck in the cold war with ussr and imo, and with respect and humility - i argue represents a significant vulnerability. You also have to understand we see this structural vulnerability in the presenter because NATO and Kiev moving towards Europe precisely did alienate Russian interest. There is a believe democracy and America’s governance model is superior which i agree and why I stand with the United States but we can measure the governance model by assigning a sort of efficiency, which i would argue signficantly reduced after Hoover integration of security and its ability to override the united state’s constitution and Nixon monetary policies. From here - I am Canadian, but the United States played an important role in my life and so, i advocate in the national interest of the United State’s and the importance of is restoring her governance model, aka remove the leverage both industries and Israel holds aka restore the constitution. Those two should undo the way corporations can distort the American democracy. An example is how our information channel (media, ads, etc) are distorted presenting corporate interest. Precisely - take the very real issue of recruiting, yet what is the role of our sugar industry here. The sugar industry and her ability to override the united state’s constitution creates an inefficiency in our governance model. So, China and her central planning - well, it gives her more ability to maneuver during a time of rapid technological changes and leaps. Here, the democracy is a far superior model but the same said media uses division (racial, cop vs. community, men vs women, trans issues, etc. these are all identity politics and represents tools to oppress the American people and shift the decision making to a very few. The United State of America is behind when it comes to artificial intelligence to China, and China has also both expanding her military quickly, and securing alliances with the global south. While its true, she is using debt trap diplomacy , her calculus offers what the west gives plus a little bit more, so the Global South and even Europe see China as a leader. From here - we see not only the undoing of the United State’s of America but also Canada and the global democratic order. Ah - perhaps now it makes sense why I have been pretty passionate about standing up for the United States. we need to address corruption and part of that exposure is our intelligence officers explaining the use of psychological warfare, both individual and against the United States of America’s public. The modern democracy meets its death, will it experience a rebirth? Well, you use psychological warfare because you do not think the vast majority of Americans are capable of making decisions for themselves and overtime, you become similar to the very thing you have fought against. Let face it - the united states of America is run by a bunch of powerful corporate interest. In fact, internal warfare should be seen as a serious and potential threat but the real existential threat is climate change. Its a drought to be more precise because that can send waves of millions of refugees which would both destabilize regions and the us. It is the number one security we face as a nation yet and again, due to corporate interest, half if Americans are against any climate policies. That is a product if your psychological warfare against your own citizen. So, I believe my assessment is correct, the United State’s needs a re-birth, focused on a new kind of nationalism but one that see all of her and all her shades as one people and a focus on equity and progress.

Climate literacy is a duty for each citizen because we need to live in a new world where our planet may forever be more hostile, and from this perspective - there is an need for both peace and collaboration. From a security perspective - we cannot underestimate the security risk climate change poses. For instance - a drought could send millions into our borders, increase risk of regional conflict and war. Our institutions simply would fail to adapt … so, why not start now. Also - given the ads time, reaching climate literacy is not very hard, follow the information channels; so tapping into influences etc. Plus climate literacy is also important to building community resilience a term used to talk about the connections people hold. Similarly - its about food justice, learning about environment, climate may encourage more people to hold a garden in their homes, etc. all these lead to prosperity and security but they certainty challenge many structures in our society. Hence - it’s a will we miss and a political will. Big oil and gas undermine our climate policies because they want to control the renewables and why they are also buying up farmlands. We must not let our capitals fall for the industries that exist at our mercy. They serve our national interest - not the other way around. Plus its time we truly allow our nations to reach their ideal, to truly become free!

Ah, memories! In 1965 I got ahold of an English translation of Gen. Giap's book "People's War, People's Army". I read it and learned of what Prof. Paine called "half court tennis". I realized that the U.S. was fighting a war it had made up in its head. General Giap was fighting the real war, and for that reason we were going to lose. West Point made the book mandatory reading in 1996, only a generation late.
